The truth about the resurrection of Jesus — and the promise to believers of the same _ has been and will remain the subject of many discussions until Jesus returns. At that moment, all things will be made clear. Until then, Christians rely on the hope, truth and trust in God's Word.
We have examined the Gospel and the historical and eyewitness accounts of Jesus' resurrection. Next comes necessity, assurance, logic — and consequences of denying of the resurrection.
This week, Paul's focus is on a description of what the resurrection body is and what it is not. Scripture teaches that the glorified body is similar in some respects to the earthly body but with this major difference: The corruption and mortality attached to the mortal body as a consequence of sin is removed. A perfected body, immortal and incorruptible, will be in place in the twinkling of an eye. — Pastor Don
