Our Hope in the Resurrection of Jesus

Chapter 15 in 1 Corinthians contains the Gospel truths that Christianity holds as the center and foundation of our faith: the resurrection of Jesus and his promise of the same for all who believe.

Last week we examined the facts of the resurrection with historical and eyewitness accounts that have never been proven wrong. This week we will look at the necessity, assurance, and logic of the resurrection, along with the consequences of denying the resurrection.

Paul will explain to the Corinthian Christians how Greek philosophy and Christ's physical, bodily resurrection differ in life everlasting. Here again we see that Paul is including this in his letter to clear up any confusion and answer questions about the resurrection. — Pastor Don
