Harmony and Order in Worship

This week Paul brings instructions for spiritual gifts into the structure of the worship service.

Everything done in worship services must be beneficial to the worshipers. This principle touches every aspect as we sing, read, preach, pray and praise. All these and more must have love as their chief motivation, in our speaking useful words or participating in a way that will strengthen the faith of other believers.

When harmony and order are present, there is protection from chaos that inhibits God from working among believers as He would like. It is a heavy responsibility to bring a word or revelation from God and it must include instruction and encouragement for all who hear. — Pastor Don
