Discipline in Defending the Call

One concerning element in any competition is the lurking possibility of being disqualified. We have seen this in sports, and ministry as well. This week Paul will give another push towards critical thinking in his example of running the race with Jesus in our hearts and mind.

There are many great examples: coach, mentor, teacher, etc.

Have you seen this athlete in your life?

Have they made an impression of a spiritual love and compassion, while reflecting the love of Jesus?

God pursues us for a task to bring Him Glory, without giving up or doubting His plan, and finishing the race He places before us. Winning a race requires purpose and discipline as Paul also gives several important principles for the race we run in ministry. — Pastor Don
