This week Paul puts his gift of oration into high gear as he stands in defense to the false charges brought by the Jews, and at the same time, preaches the Gospel to Agrippa. All those listening hear the truth of the good news, the fact that many, even the Gentiles, have an inheritance in the blessing and the promise God made through Abraham.
Paul is risking his life for a message that is offensive to the Jews and unbelievable to the Gentiles. Even in today's time with facts, historical eyewitness accounts and archaeological records, the response can be similar to that of Agrippa when he said, "Paul, you are out of your mind."
As we examine the events and facts, be strengthened with the truth in all these accounts.
