Acts | Testimony, Judgement and Plots
September 25, 2022 Speaker: Don Ringman Series: The Book of Acts
Topic: The Book of Acts Passage: Acts 22:1– 23:35
There is a lot to cover this week as the scene is set.
Paul is in chains, the accusations have been expressed, and a riotous mob demands Paul be removed from the Earth.
Yet, Paul asked for one thing, to witness to the crowd how he came to faith in Jesus Christ. Sound reasoning is a good thing, but it is also important to simply share what Jesus has done in our personal lives.
This week we will read that no matter how we preach and share the truth about Jesus, not everyone will accept it. One key as we faithfully and responsibly present the Gospel of Christ is to leave the results to God. God's plan would and will not be thwarted. The Gentiles are hearing the "Good News" through Jewish Christians such as Paul and Peter, being the light God intended the Jewish nation to be. — Pastor Don
