Hidden Treasure

I'm sure everyone has been on a treasure hunt of some sort, be it hunting for great buys in a second-hand store (one of my family's favorites), or taking your metal detector out after a hot day at a public beach (another fun one). The excitement comes in not knowing what you might find. There's an old joke that asks, "Do you know why dogs dig for bones? ... Because they found one once!" God's Word has many treasures hidden in it, and the more we dig, the more we understand. This week we look at one verse, the parable of hidden treasure, packed with a reward more precious than gold.
