As you know, a few weeks ago we launched a new series on the parable of Jesus. Last week, we looked at the Parable of the Sower. This week, we are looking at the Parable of the Wheat and the Weeds, or as some versions call it, the Wheat and the Tares.
The Parable of the Wheat and the Weeds offers profound spiritual truth about the Kingdom of Heaven, the reality of good and evil, and the assurance that God will judge in the end. It is a parable that should encourage us to maintain our faith and patience, especially in our world where both righteousness and unrighteousness exist side by side.
