What is the Gospel?

As you know, over the past several weeks we have been going through the series “Simply Jesus,” focusing on the central Person of the four Gospels. He is also a Person who is regarded as one of the most significant people in human history. Why is that? As the four Gospels tell us, he is God incarnate, the Second Person of the Trinity, who came to dwell among us, with the mission to seek and save the lost. With that in mind, this week we will conclude this series by looking at what the Gospel is. Why? Because the Gospel is a simple message that encapsulates the Person, work, and mission of Jesus Christ. It is the foundation of our faith.
