This week as we continue in our series "Simply Jesus," we will look at yet another highlight in the life of the God/Man Jesus of Nazareth. All four Gospels include this important historical event and here in John we read the most theological of the four. The book of John stresses the deity of Christ, giving us seven miracles that serve as signs that Jesus is the Messiah. The first sign comes as Jesus took time to attend a wedding, one of the best social events to gather with and celebrate with the people he came to save and serve. In our own lives, our mission can include and be accomplished in joyous times of celebration with others. It brings balance into our lives by bringing Jesus into times of pleasure as well as times of work.
