The Boy Jesus at the Temple

Last week we began our new series "Simply Jesus" with conclusive evidence that Jesus is the Son of God and that all who believe in Him will have eternal life. John the apostle, brother of James and also known as the "Son of Thunder," makes it clear that Jesus is not just a good man or moral teacher; He is the light of the world, and we should pay attention to His divine identity and life-giving message. This week we will unpack the Apostle Luke's account of Jesus at the age of 12, just shy of adulthood, spending time with the teachers of the day, learning, asking and answering questions in what Jesus referred to as "my Father's house."
