Who is Jesus Christ? For those of us who profess his name, he is the central figure of our faith and our lives. However, we realize that not everyone holds this view. There are many opinions about who Jesus Christ is. Some say he was a prophet. Some say he was a good moral teacher. There are even some who say he was a lunatic or a deceiver. And some people don’t even give him much thought. But to any casual observer, it is clear that Jesus Christ is one of the most influential people in human history. This Sunday, we begin the series “Simply Jesus,” looking at the first chapter of the Gospel of John to begin answering this important question: Who is Jesus Christ?
