Living a Holy Life

So far, we’ve learned from the first three chapters of Paul’s letter to the church in Thessalonica — a church that, within a few short weeks, grew into an active, vibrant church in the face of persecution. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the believers in the church became a model for the rest of the world. The major reason their testimony was so powerful was that the believers lived a holy life, a life that was pleasing to God. We, too, are to live a holy life. This week, we will look at what it means to be holy and look at Paul’s practical advice on how that is done.
