Growing Through Trials

Paul closed Chapter 2 with a longing to see the Thessalonians again and explained his ultimate reward, which was not money, not prestige, and definitely not fame, but in new believers whose lives had been changed by God through the preaching of the Gospel. This week we will read Paul's account after sending Timothy back to the front lines, and the report from Timothy concerning the condition of the Thessalonians and the church. We know Paul told these believers to expect persecution, and this week we will get some pointers on how to deal with persecution, suffering and pressure.
