2 Corinthians 5:17

The new year is here. This is a time when many people will have made resolutions, commitments to make changes in their lives. The irony is, more often than not these resolutions are dissolved within a few short weeks. There is no real change. Real change can only come from becoming a new person from having a transformation from within, and a genuine transformation may only come through Jesus Christ. Paul says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV). Since Jesus Christ is the source of genuine transformation, we will be considering the age-old question: “Who is Jesus Christ?” In a world of spiritual counterfeits, your eternal destiny depends on knowing who Jesus Christ is, the Jesus Christ of the New Testament.
