On your mark, get set, here we go... This Sunday signals the beginning of the Advent season, celebrating the arrival of Jesus the Christ, bringing salvation, unity and hope into a world that cried out to God in desperation and need.
Along with Advent, this Saturday at Port Gardner we will be decorating the sanctuary, and due to the calendar, shopping, packing and delivering Thanksgiving boxes to 11 families this Sunday after church.
With Christ as the light of the world, we live with excitement, busyness, and anticipation of the second advent when the Savior who was born to serve and save returns and prophecy is once again fulfilled, with the gift of the promise of everlasting life. So encourage everyone to join together and celebrate this miraculous event, the birth of Jesus Christ, that changed the world forever.
