God's Special Revelation

On Sunday, we will be continuing in the third chapter of 2 Timothy. In the first half of this chapter, we saw what the conditions of what the world will be like in the “end times,” which are like the conditions in our current world. In the second half of this chapter, Paul warns of the potential persecution that we may face, particularly if we want to live a godly life. Paul also tells us of how we find comfort and strength, which is rooted in the Holy Scriptures, the Scriptures that have are inspired by God and that are “useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
