Acts | Arrival, Unrest and Division

September 18, 2022 Speaker: Don Ringman Series: The Book of Acts

Topic: The Book of Acts Passage: Acts 21:17– 22:1

Paul and company arrive in Jerusalem and again we see Paul facing challenges. Not only his life, but the future of the Gospel was at stake as powerful forces raged against it. Prejudiced, violent Jewish prosecutors stood on one side and open-minded Roman civil law keepers on the other.

In courage and serene confidence, Paul stood strong as he found himself trapped between two powers: religious and civil, hostile and friendly, Jerusalem and Rome. Paul relied on His Lord and Savior being present with him and the promise that, someday somehow, he would bear witness to the truth of Jesus in Rome.

As we today face challenges and choices in our daily lives, remember we have a Savior who loves us, stands by us in times of distress, and will never leave or forsake us in our need. — Pastor Don
