As we continue in Acts, we are entering the second half of Luke's account. This historical record of the establishment of the Church, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the expansion of the Church is miraculous.
Acts is seen as two books in one with the first half focusing on the ministry of Peter. This week we move to the missionary journeys of Paul. Paul's adventures will show us the progress of Christianity, and that it could not be confined to one corner of the world or only one specific people.
This was and is a faith that offers hope to all humanity. We too are missionaries of the Gospel, be it local, country, or foreign as we turn to the Holy Spirit for strength, courage and insight to accomplish the work God has set us apart for. Enjoy your adventures. — Pastor Don
