Acts | A Tale of Two Kings

June 26, 2022 Speaker: Ed Pride Series: The Book of Acts

Topic: The Book of Acts Passage: Acts 12:1–25

This week we learn that James, the son of Zebedee, is beheaded; Peter is thrown into prison; and Herod Agrippa I is intent on wiping out the church.

It doesn’t look good.

I don’t know why James is killed and Peter is saved. Why some are healed and some die. There’s not a single person in this world who can tell you why. God has His reasons. All you can do is trust Him. Clinging to God is the safest place to be when your world is crashing down around you. We’ll talk more about that this Sunday. — Blessings, Ed
