Doug Bookman: Passion Week Series on Youtube

Hello Port Gardner Church,

As many of you know Kathleen and I took a study trip to Israel with Doug Bookman in 2017. Doug is an exceptional Old Testament professor at Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, N.C. His research and teaching concerning the life of Jesus Christ and especially the Passion Week is extremely detailed and comprehensive. His presentation is very accessible to both the Bible scholar and the general student. I highly recommend Doug's teaching videos on Youtube. I have attached a link to the first in the 9 part series as well as a copy of his teaching notes.

If you would like to focus on Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday I recommend the 8th and 9th sessions. I pray you have a time of remembrance today as we honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the work He performed on our behalf.
